TAMPA – Bryce Harper had his first game at Steinbrenner Field in a different uniform, albeit in the red and gray of the Philadelphia Phillies. He didn’t do much, going 0-for-2, reaching on catcher’s interference and scoring a run.

The Yankees got a colossal home run from Giancarlo Stanton that cleared the left-field scoreboard. They also got RBIs from Luke Voit, Brett Gardner, Greg Bird and Tyler Wade. Gary Sánchez also collected a single and scored a run.

Masahiro Tanaka allowed two runs on six hits with six strikeouts in his 3⅔ innings before hitting his pitch count. One of those came via a two-run homer hit by Scott Kingery off Chad Green. Adam Ottavino allowed an unearned run, while Tommy Kahnle pitched a scoreless sixth inning.

The Phillies rallied off non-roster lefty Phillip Diehl to tie the game, scoring on a wild pitch past catcher Ryan Lavarnway.
